I have a B.A. Honours degree in British Literature, a B. Ed., and an M. Ed. After teaching in northern and southern Saskatchewan, I went to teach at a Chinese university on a two-year contract. That stretched out to 25 years. Before coming to Flex Ed, I taught English to adult immigrants.
A Chinese maxim describes education as “teachers and students learning together” and that has been my classroom experience. That makes me a life-long learner, and I hope my students will also be learners for life.
My hobbies include reading, biking, photography, canoeing, and watching subtitled TV shows and films.
This summer, I sang with 17,571 other singers from 129 countries in a virtual choir.
