A Little About Myself

I have a B.A. Honours degree in British Literature, a B. Ed., and an M. Ed. After teaching in northern and southern Saskatchewan, I went to teach at a Chinese university on a two-year contract. That stretched out to 25 years. Before coming to Flex ED, I taught English to adult immigrants. 

A Chinese maxim describes education as teachers and students learning together and that has been my classroom experience. That makes me a life-long learner, and I hope my students will also be learners for life.

My hobbies include reading, biking, photography, canoeing, and watching subtitled TV shows and films.

Fun Fact

A couple of years ago, my wife and I paddled our canoe to Grey Owl's cabin.
