High School Teacher/Homeroom Teacher

A Little About Myself

In my first grade yearbook I said I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up, so I guess I've come full circle! I studied elementary education at the U of R and taught Kindergarten, Grade 1 and 2 before I joined Flex ED three years ago.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching high school now - ELA and History were my favourite subjects as a student, so I'm pleased to have a chance to engage with students based on these topics. One of my favourite things about working at Flex ED is the fact that I can "bring" my two cats to work with me - the only problem with that is when they try to walk across the keyboard!

Fun Fact

I name my modes of transportation. My car, a VW Jetta, is named Draper and my bike is called Trixie.
