What You Need To Know
Pink Shirt day was inspired by an act of kindness from two teenage boys in Nova Scotia who stood up for a fellow student bullied for wearing a pink shirt. Since the beginning of this movement in 2007, and other anti-bullying campaigns, bullying awareness has grown. However, the act of bullying has also evolved with time. Young people today face many of the same challenges as past generations, as well as new and complex challenges brought on by social media.

This webinar will look at the history of Pink Shirt day and bullying, including the new challenges faced by youth. We will learn about the strategies and resources we can use to support each other as we journey through and stand up to bullying. We'll see you on February 27th at 10 am for this informational webinar!
